Rare and unusual pearl crossover ring.
Centred on a natural deep chocolate brown non-nacreous pearl, measuring approximately 4.2mm, with seed pearl sides, to asymmetric shoulders.
We have never seen a pearl quite like this one, truly a rarity and whilst we are not certain of the origin of this non-nacreous pearl the best likelihood is that this is from a lion’s paw scallop.
Marks:
Apparently unmarked.
Electronically tests as approximately 22ct gold.

Surface wear. Slight areas of discolouration.
Minimal wear to the outer nacre layer of two of the pearls.
